2. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate, complete information needed for us to perform services
Submit manuscripts or files in formats we can reasonably work with
Communicate in a timely manner to keep the project on schedule
Review and approve deliverables within the agreed-upon timelines
Pay all fees as outlined in your invoice or agreement
You are solely responsible for the content of your manuscript, including accuracy, originality, permissions, citations, and any legal compliance required for publication.
3. Payment Terms
Payments are processed through Dubsado or any other payment processor we may use in the future.
By purchasing Services, you agree to:
Pay all fees by the due dates listed on your invoice
Maintain an active payment method as required
Abide by any deposit, installment, or final payment terms
Work may be paused or withheld if payments become overdue.
4. Refund Policy
Unless otherwise stated in writing:
Editing, coaching, consulting, and custom services are non-refundable, as time and expertise cannot be returned once delivered.
Digital products (courses, downloads, templates) are non-refundable due to their instant-access nature.
If you are dissatisfied for any reason, please contact us—we aim to resolve concerns whenever possible.
5. Scheduling & Cancellations
Scheduling is handled through Calendly or other booking tools.
Client reschedules or cancellations:
You may reschedule with reasonable notice when available on our calendar.
Missed appointments or last-minute cancellations may be forfeited without refund.
Company reschedules:
If we must reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate you as soon as possible.
6. Subcontractors and Third-Party Services
To provide high-quality support, we may collaborate with vetted subcontractors such as:

Designers
Formatters
Graphic artists
Publishing support partners
We only share the information needed for them to complete their work.
We also interact with third-party platforms, including but not limited to:
Amazon KDP
Library of Congress and U.S. Copyright Office
Podia
Digital distributors or print-on-demand platforms
You authorize us to act on your behalf with these platforms as needed to complete your project.
7. Intellectual Property
Your Work
You retain all rights, ownership, and intellectual property to your manuscript and any materials you submit.
Our Work
You receive a license to use edited files, coaching materials, or resources we produce specifically for your project.
Templates, frameworks, examples, course materials, and proprietary content created by A Page Beyond remain our intellectual property.
You may not:
Resell
Republish
Distribute
Or claim ownership of
our proprietary materials unless explicitly permitted in writing.
8. Confidentiality
We treat your manuscript and project details as confidential. We will not share your work or identity without your consent, except:
With subcontractors needed to complete your project
With platforms required for publishing tasks
When legally obligated
You also agree to maintain confidentiality regarding any proprietary processes or materials we share with you.
9. No Guarantee of Publication, Sales, or Outcomes
We support your writing and publishing journey, but we cannot guarantee:
Publication approval
Book sales or commercial success
Media attention, endorsements, or reviews
Reader responses
Manuscript acceptance by agents or publishers
All creative outcomes depend on factors beyond our control.
10. Acceptable Use
You may not use our website or Services to:
Post or transmit unlawful content
Harass, defame, or harm others
Upload files containing viruses or malicious code
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Copy or misuse our website content
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
